Does Toronto pharmacy require CASPer?
Yes. Toronto requires Casper and states that Duet is not required. For August 2027 entry to its three-year PharmD, Casper dates from 19 July 2026 to 21 January 2027 count, and the OUAC deadline is 15 January 2027. Ontario’s other PharmD differs here, so compare Waterloo pharmacy.
What is the Toronto pharmacy interview format?
Toronto does not hold a live interview. Invited applicants complete the Online Individual Assessment: pre-recorded video questions answered with timed video responses, plus a multiple-choice section, taking about three hours, on a single date in late March (25 March 2027 for August 2027 entry). An applicant may attempt it at most twice. Only applicants who meet the academic and Casper thresholds are invited, and a minimum threshold on the assessment must be met to reach final selection. UBC pharmacy also uses a recorded assessment instead of a live interview.

How do you prepare for the Toronto pharmacy assessment?
A video or online interview means speaking to a camera with no reactions to read. Arvin Ardakani, a final-year medical student who founded ExperienceMED, has applicants record timed answers and marks them himself, so the first time you answer on camera is never the real one. See virtual interview: what to wear and how to behave.
