The most expensive minute in a coaching session is the one spent finding the problem. Arvin Ardakani uses AI so that time goes on fixing it instead. Here is how it works before, during and after a session.
During the session: review on the spot
When a student answers out loud, AI transcribes the answer as they speak. Arvin Ardakani reviews the transcript there and then, so the feedback is about exactly what the student said, word for word, not what anyone remembers them saying. That precision matters: the difference between a 2nd-quartile and a 4th-quartile answer is often one missing step in the reasoning.
After the session: nothing gets lost
Students receive the recording of each class and a transcript, turned into notes. They keep what they learned instead of trying to rebuild it from memory, and they can return to the exact moment a correction was made.
Between sessions: patterns, not guesses
Students record their own practice and send it to him. He transcribes each recording with AI and analyzes it, with AI’s help and his own reading, to find the patterns: the gap in reasoning that keeps coming back, the habit that keeps costing marks. By the next session, he already knows what to work on. The hour goes on the fix.
Any hour: an AI trained on his teaching
Arvin trained an AI model on how he teaches and how he corrects his students, including transcripts of his live classes, so it reads answers the way he does. When he is asleep or not available by text, students still get written feedback, rewrite their answer and practise the same things he teaches live, as if they were working with him.
Where the line is
AI is powerful when it is trained properly. It also works from patterns and can tell you what you want to hear, and Arvin regularly corrects things it gets wrong. So he tells students exactly where they can rely on it and where they cannot. The diagnosis and the strategy are his, because CASPer and interviews are marked by humans, and it is humans who decide your place.
Why this matters when choosing a coach
Many companies put a generic AI model on their website and hand students a score. Many private tutors do not use AI at all. Arvin Ardakani’s view is that the right coach finds the balance: AI to make practice constant and sessions efficient, and a human who reads your answers and knows what to do about them. Read why generic AI marking cannot predict your CASPer score and how to use ChatGPT for CASPer and interview practice.
See why he marks every answer himself, or the programs.
